Since its creation in 1998, the More Honors (MH) award ceremony has become one of AUBG’s most popular events. “As condensed as life is at AUBG, in both time and space, More-Honors is around 200 times more dense with what could be called the AUBG spirit,” says Petar Svarc, a member of MH 4 and MH 5 teams.

Podcasts Killed The Radio Star

In the 1980s, almost two decades before the first podcast was published, television networks changed the music industry. “Video Killed the Radio Star” by The Buggles was the first music video to be aired on MTV in 1981. The ironic peculiarity, however, was that the man whose career was based on the premise that television would override radiotriggered one of the most important advancements in radio. Adam Curry, long-time MTV video jockey, today better known as the “Podfather,” pioneered what media experts believe to be the technology that will revive radio.

 
Redefining the Ghastly

Now that the “Ghastly” Bunch is a popular event that fills the Red room to its fullest almost every week, it is hard to believe that five years ago the administration of AUBG did not want to support it, sure that no students would attend.
 
A Club that Cares

As members of the AUBG community, we talk mainly to each other and most of our time is divided between lectures, studying for exams, a few extracurricular activities, and hanging out. Members of the Better Community Club (BCC), however, do more than that. Their projects aim to improve the life of not only AUBGers but also of the people outside the university. The motto of the club is “Become the Change We Want to See.”
