Kaufland Comes to Blago

APR 2 - The German market chain Kaufland opened its first hypermarket in Blagoevgrad. The store is situated next to AUBG dormitories and the New Academic Building. It was built on the place of the old Skaptopara sports hall.

Kaufland offers a wide range of goods including groceries and household items.

The new store was literary flooded with visitors the first two days. Locals stopped by to compare prices, which are mostly on par with the prices of products in Blagoevgrad.

Kaufland stores operate in the Chezh Republic, German, Poland, Slovaki, Romania, Croatia and Bulgaria. The hypermarket chain has been present in Bulgaria since March of 2006.
