Some of us came back from working abroad just a few weeks ago. But the show must go on—and it is already time to think about next summer. Here is an overview of what the WAT packages look like this year. In case you depart from Bulgaria, tickets should be purchased from the agency that you are using to arrange your trip. Additionally to all charges, there is a SEVIS fee of $35 (SEVIS stands for Student and Exchange Visitor Information System. It is used to track and monitor visitors who participate in the US educational system.) Also, the US Embassy in Bulgaria requires a $131 fee for a visa interview. A job fair is an event where students can sign contracts with representatives of American employers. If you are going for the first time on a WAT, most employers will require you to participate in a job fair; however, if you have worked for them already, then you can manage your own program.
