NOV 4 - The head of the Political Science and European Studies department at AUBG invited the students from his American Government class and all AUBGers to follow live on CNN the end of the election day in the United States in the night between Tuesday and Wednesday. Regardless of the late hour of the meeting, many AUBGers stayed the whole night In the Skapto 2 canteen to see first the win of the President-elect Barack Obama. Photos by Asen Dimitrov  NOV 5 - The famous Bulgarian folk and pop singer Veselin Marinov was warmly welcomed by more than 700 people in the overcrowded Peyo Yavorov Hall last Tuesday.  NOV 7 - The ex-head of the Journalism and Mass Communication department at AUBG Aernout van Lynden visited the university to take part in a debate on nationalism in The Versus Chronicles last Friday. Van Lynden, Nikola Milekic and Shpatar Morina opposed History and Politics professor Yavor Siderov, Edlira Dashi and Mirian Jugheli in an unusual debate watched by almost 200 AUBGers in the NAB Auditorium. NOV 8 - Better Community Club organized a Halloween charity party in Skapto 2 main lobby on Saturday. Money raised will be donated to the people from the home for the aged in Blagoevgrad and spent for for a trip to Bansko. Photos by Asen Dimitrov
